Their minimal electronic music delicately mixed with acoustic and instrumental elements conquers your deepest self and invites you to a world of its own. There is so much amazing Aussie music | Ocean Alley

They blend psychedelic rock music with reggae and other influences, they have three albums under their belt and they’ve already finished the recordings of their fourth LP. They’re more and more popular in their native Australia, and they’re making a name in other parts of the world. After their memorable gig at Sziget three years ago, Ocean Alley are coming back to Hungary to play their first ever club concert here. We have a pretty good system now | Front Line Assembly

Starting out from Vancouver in 1986, Front Line Assembly count as one of the most relevant and legendary acts on the EBM and industrial scene. Comprising longtime members Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber (the latter hasn’t always been part of the group), FLA have released 17 albums so far, the latest one being 2021’s Mechanical Soul. After a four-year absence, partly due to covid, we can welcome the band aboard the A38, along with Die Krupps and Tension Control. We asked FLA a bunch of questions, Rhys was kind enough to answer.

It is still exploding | KOOP Oscar Orchestra

Swedish outfit KOOP, one of the most important bands of modern, electronic-based, dancey nu jazz, has returned from its state of apparent death – yet again. Following a long silence, the composer of the former duo, Oscar Simonsson set up a new formation. Old hits and new songs were performed with Koop’s signature floaty, swingy, melancholy sound on the Ship six years ago, and you can expect the same at KOOP Oscar Orchestra’s second A38 gig, on August 5. In order to prepare, we are revisiting the interview we did with Oscar in 2016.
